Keyonee - altered female, 5y4m, 52.2lbs

Keyonee is a sweet, sensitive, and people-oriented girl who has been in the shelter system since October 2025. Her primary challenge is reactivity toward other dogs. She has shown strong leash and barrier reactivity, including pulling, vocalizing, and tension when encountering other dogs.
Recent meet-and-greets with canine companions have not gone well, highlighting that she will need a carefully managed, experienced home where her interactions with other dogs are controlled and gradual.
Despite her reactivity, Keyonee is affectionate and engaged with people. She enjoys snuggles, one-on-one play like tug-of-war and fetch, and is food-motivated, already knowing cues such as sit, stay, and come. She is also currently working through separation-related anxiety and is happiest when she is near her people.
She appears healthy and a full medical and behavioral summary can be provided upon request.
Keyonee is in foster care, and her foster is willing to continue caring for her if a rescue steps up.
She has until close of business Sunday, March 1, 2026 to secure placement.
