Subject: Emaciated 7 m/o Lab Mix Puppy! Seeking Urgent Rescue! (Baldwin, MD)
Meet River! River came to Baltimore County Animal Services as an owner surrender due to the owners living situation no longer allowing them to keep a dog .They noted that River previously lived with other dogs and did well! He also lived with a cat and kids, doing well with both! The owners reported that River is crate trained and housebroken too. Here at the shelter River presented to our veterinarian team with a body condition score of 2 out of 9, chronic ear infections with some hair loss on the ears. We have started him on a treatment plan and medication. He is a sweet boy and enjoys getting all the pets! Due to his medical concerns at this time we are looking to place him with a rescue organization to ensure his medical needs are appropriately addressed.
