Please can you perhaps assist me in with this , this puppy was abandoned outside my sisters place in Constantia on Saturday it was in the newspaper and over the news .

The picture quality is reduced to save email size.
The CCTV pics on my PC are much better.
Anyone who wants a CD with all the video dumping is welcome.
This dumping must stop. We have inherited far too many cats and chickens already.

Hi All,
At 10:51 today (Saturday) a white female in a blue/green BMW 3 series abandoned a brown bulldog puppy with lots of feet and paws at the top of Muscat Lane South.
The car number plates front and back are different. Front: CA 21199 Back CA 2099. I think the front plate 'Zero' was modified to avoid speed traps as it looks like the top and bottom black part of the Zero was rubbed off.
I am waiting for the address from control and I will be bringing abandonment charges with the SPCA. The number plate mods will also being reported to SAPS.
All of this is recorded on 7 cameras in great detail. I will send out some frames later.
The car was recorded on CCTV heading along Spaanschemat towards Ladies Mile at 10:52.

Hi, can you believe this cute puppy was abandoned outside my house!!! our neighbour, Raymond, the one that wrote the above message caught it all on his camera. i have her at the moment, but looking for a good home for her. she is such a sweet, friendly dog. i have oficially fallen in love with her and named her Bella!!

SPCA to formally charge puppy-dumper

The SPCA has met the woman who allegedly dumped her puppy in Nova
Constantia and say they intend pursuing a charge of abandonment
against her under the Animal Protection Act.
The Cape Argus cannot name the woman as she was due to be charged on
Monday.
Allan Perrins, CEO of the Cape of Good Hope district of the SPCA, said
that if found guilty of cruelty to animals, the woman could face a
prison sentence of 12 months and/or a fine of between R20 000 and R600
000.
On Monday the dog owner visited the SPCA's chief inspector, Andries
Venter, to explain why she had abandoned her puppy.
He said she had told him that the financial strain of owning a dog had
become too much; the management at her complex had put pressure on her
to get rid of the dog; and that she was entangled in a nine-year-long
divorce battle.
The woman claimed that she had been on her way to take the puppy to a
vet in Constantia but she had got lost and the dog had become anxious
in the car.
As she stopped so that the dog could relieve itself, she noticed the
"nice houses" and decided that Constantia was the place she wanted her
puppy to grow up in.
Perrins appealed to people who no longer wanted their pets or those
who found strays to contact their local SPCA.
