The Animal Ambulance might be closing down end of the month due to no funds unless we can get your help. It is the first time in 6 years and 7 months that I have got no idea how to fix things. In 2003 I sold my home for these animals and those funds are finished a long time now. Last year we made a loan of R50 000 to keep us going as bills have to be paid on a monthly bases. (We still paying this loan off on a monthly bases and the bank wont loan us more). This year our R50 000 over draft is also used up to its limit and we are R4000 over it, as we just dont have enough members of the public helping us, we have to do most on our own. For those that do help us on a monthly bases and when times are hard we are totally thankful for.

 

We sell things at markets to try and raise funds but just not enough is brought in with this. We make animal products to and not enough is sold to keep us going. To feed the animals in the 13 townships we need around 80 bags of dog food every month this excludes the blankets and front line and the petrol to get to these townships. Medical bills are always flooding in when I pay 1 bill its just so another one can start again from the beginning. For those of you that know me and the work that animal ambulance does Im hoping you would be able to help us to continue our work as my life revolves around these poor animals.

 

 

This is the worst email Ive ever had to put together as i sit here with my head in my hands. If we are not able to get funds this will mean that we will not be able to feed the animals in the townships nore will we be able to take in sick animals and give them the proper care that they need to get back on their feet. Doggies like Lilo and Stitch, DJ, Nancy and Tiny and so many more that have come a long way. If you can help please we would be completely grateful and we would be able to continue with the animals. I know this is a bad time of the year with Christmas just round the corner and I just cant see myself not giving to the animals.
