Hi guys,
I remember someone saying at our last meeting at Bull and Bones they had a family that was looking for a border collie. I have a lady who has a purebred border collie about 5 years old called Jenny who needs a home because she feels like she can't give this dog adequate attention. Their family is very herding orientated and she has 3 other herding dogs, but Jenny has a congenital defect in both her fabellae and some mild inflammation of unknown origin in one knee that prevents her from herding livestock. However, I've been told Jenny loves long walks, hiking and riding in cars and seems perfect for the person for someone who spends a lot of time outdoors. She is house and crate trained and has all the basic obedience training and some herding experience, as well. I will be going out to meet Jenny today to evaluate her myself, so whoever brought up the collie family please contact me for more info.
