Thank you for your interest. We have partnered with an oversees partner and currently we are
engaging central, Rift, Nyanza and Coast province. We have some CSO whom we have negotiated deals
with. If you will be interested we will be having workshops in different areas in the coming weeks
and you can join us as we disseminate information. Will be sharing the time table.
Brief about the project
The stove is called Jiko poa and is currently being produced en mass in the industrial area. They
have been subsided and the retail price is Ksh 1,500. Part of the money from the sales goes to CSO
to invest in projects approved by explore Kenya which must be environmental friendly and
sustainable. Since this is a carbon credit project communities will stand to benefit from carbon
credits after their sales every once in a while. That’s the much I can share for now.
