Hi!
Are you familiar with a reliable developing country NGO that needs funding for a small-scale development project?
HYY (the Student Union of the University of Helsinki) directs 0.7% of its annual budget to development co-operation projects.
Applicants should have had a close relationship with a Finnish NGO during the last two years, preferably including funding related co-operation. The Finnish NGO is asked to recommend the applicant.
Furthermore, the yearly budget of the applicant NGO should not exceed 100 000 euros and the project should be based in the developing country (The DAC List), be initiated by locals and aim to support the most vulnerable parts of the society.
So if you know an NGO which fits into the criteria, please ask them to contact us (hyy.proj...@gmail.com) and we'll send an application form.
The deadline for the applications is on the 19th of March 2012 at 9 pm Finnish time (GMT+2).
We'll be happy to answer any further questions.
Best regards,
Yacine Mbaye
Project fund coordinator
