Dear Colleague:

START is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals (CFP) for the 2012 Grant Awards for Global Environmental Change Research in Africa.

The Grant Awards will be offered to scientists based in Africa in support of collaborative research with other African scientists and/or with scientists in other areas of the world.  Proposals will be screened through a peer review process.

A copy of the Call for Proposals and Application Form is attached to this email.   

Proposals are due on 28 March 2012.

I would like to ask for your help to reach more potential applicants by sharing this information with any colleagues who may be interested in submitting an application.  Please note that the CFP and Application Form can be found at the START website at: http://start.org/news/2012-cfp-grant-awards-gec-africa.html.
