Wow... I haven't seen anything like this since the 70's when
Burroughs Corp was playing with dataflow languages in their
labs.
I just stumbled across ANI and am reading through the tutorial
and am impressed by the cleanliness of the design, so far.
I cloned the hg repository did the build. I tried compiling a few
of the examples from the tutorial. They seem to compile ok,
but when I "chmod +x ..." the output file and execute, nothing
happens, e.g. nothing on std.out.
What am I missing?

Welcome to the group.
You're not missing anything - ANI is still a work in progress and the
current expected behaviour is, well, nothing. We're ever so slowly
working on it, but we're all pretty busy with other work, so
progression is extremely slow.
