Guilderland YMCA Member Service Representative (Part Time)
The Guilderland YMCA is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Member Service Representative. Under the direction of the Member Service Manager, the Member Services Representative provides excellent customer service to members and guests, through selling memberships, registering for programs, giving tours and answering questions about the facility and programs. Excellent human relation skills, good organizational and communication skills are required. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of the YMCA and its capacity to build strong kids, families and communities is desired and the ability to articulate and model YMCA’s four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibilities are essential. This position is responsible for providing daily services to all members, prospective members and program participants. This includes greeting members by name, scanning membership cards, registering members for programs, membership sales, answering phones and giving tours. The ideal candidate must posses a positive outlook and is able to multi task and work in a high paced environment. Must have at least 1-3 years of customer service experience. This is a part time permanent position and hours are Saturdays 11am to 7pm with the opportunity to pick up additional hours based on flexibility. Pay starts at $8.00 per hour.
