Hello and happy Fall!

Thank you for your continued partnership with the University at Albany's Community and Public Service Program (CPSP). As many of you know, each Fall and Spring we host a volunteer fair where we invite our non-profit and public partners to collaborate, share information about service opportunities, and recruit student volunteers.

The Fall 2025 Community Service Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 15th with tabling from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in the UAlbany Main Campus Lecture Center Concourse. RSVP for the fair

There is no cost to attend. We will provide 1 large table and 2 chairs per organization. We encourage you to bring brochures and flyers to share about volunteer opportunities at your organization as well as candy or small giveaways for prospective volunteers (optional but always appreciated by students!). Please join us for coffee and pastries during the fair. We do require your registration in order to ensure an adequate number of tables, parking permits, beverages, etc.  PLEASE REGISTER PRIOR TO Wednesday, October 1st.

Once you have submitted your form, you will see a confirmation screen, letting you know we've received your registration.  Following your RSVP, you will receive an email on Thursday, October 9th with information explaining what to expect at the fair, parking instructions for free guest parking on State Lot, and a map. The University provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with mobility concerns, but please be aware that the location of the fair is quite a distance from the visitor parking lot.  Please contact our office with specific concerns and/or questions.

Our Community Service Fair serves as one of the main avenues for students to become aware of the many service opportunities available in the Greater Capital Region. It is a wonderful time to interact with students, staff and faculty from the University.  We love learning about what you do to assist in strengthening our communities.

If you have any questions about UAlbany students volunteering through the CPSP for credit or have questions about the Community Service Fair (including accessibility and route planning), please contact the CPSP office at (518) 442-5683, or email Jenny at jho...@albany.edu or Sheri at sste...@albany.edu.

Thank you again for the support you provide to our students while offering them the opportunity to serve in the community. Our program would not exist without you.

Have a wonderful day and hope to see you on October 15th at the fair.

Have a great day!

Sheri and Jenny

That's what I think a meaningful life is.  One lives not just for oneself but for one's community."
