In Our Own Voices and Its Community Members Say "No More" to Violence, Oppression and Shame.

In Our Own Voices is excited to announce our version of the “No More” campaign.  This campaign educates around violence prevention while serving as an intervention based tool for working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender People of Color (LGBT POC) survivors/victims of domestic and sexual violence. From late December through early February, fourteen Billboards and Bus Shelter ads bearing the “No More” messaging will be posted throughout Albany County!  Additionally, posters, palm cards, and wallet sized campaign materials were distributed locally and to all of the domestic and sexual violence coalitions in the United States.  The ultimate goal is to not just bring awareness about the importance of No More but to also begin discussions on the messages survivors/victims need to hear. I strongly encourage YOU to check out the campaign on our website and social media for additional graphics, including bilingual media, and videos that will launch later this week!

Help IOOV ensure that we are inclusive of as many voices/identities as possible to diversify the campaign even more!!! Send us your “No More…” or “Our Community Needs to Hear…” messages by tagging us at the following social media sites (messages in Spanish are welcome):
