Organic food is becoming more and more popular and companies have
recognized that there is a good market for Organic products. The
question is, how do you know if those things labeled are indeed
organic. Perhaps they are but are not quite up to the standards you
would hope. And large companies make it even harder to know what farm
and even country the food originates from given the large number of
suppliers they use.

A great step to making things better comes from Dole. They now have on
their website a way to track all of their organic products. Each
product has a label with a farm code on it, enter that code into their
site and you can find out more about the farm it came from.
