I want a progress bar which is displayed on every template while the $upload is running in the file controller.
Currently, when I upload a file on a file.html template having a filesController. It starts the progress bar and is displayed on the files.html.

While the progress is on, if I change the template, invoking another controller and then back to the files.html (filesController), the progress bar is no more seen and the upload continues.

How can I have the progress bar shown as a pop up, which stay on every template while its on.

An example is, the upload progress bar in dropbox, google drive.

Hi Hardik,

One way, is to place your upload itself in a service, and the progress element outside your ngView.
If you want to keep it inside all of your templates, you need to do a lot of extra work, without added benefit to the above.
