Angulars,

I've been having a lot of fun using Angular and Meteor together. I've released an updated and renamed version of the ngMeteor package that makes it easier to use AngularJS in a Meteor app. The package, superchris:angular-meteor is now working with Meteor 1.0 and I've documented it (pretty well I hope) on the github repo and created an example app to show off all the features. Feedback is welcomed, and thanks for AngularJS.

Example App Leaderboard is a "Page not found"

I´m a newbie and still confused.

I would like to know why there is a need for angular on top of meteor.

Can you explain for "dummies" the added sugar that angular has that meteor needs?

Regards
António

Thanks, I got rid of this link and fixed a typo. I've been doing a lot of work with Angular and prefer it to what I've seen of the front stuff in Meteor. The angular-meteor package allows me to use the bindings and rich componenty goodness of Angular but with the super easy real time persistence of Meteor. I find they compliment one another nicely.

Hi!

https://github.com/superchris/angular-meteor
https://github.com/Urigo/angular-meteor

Haven't looked at them, but the names sound very similar. Are the two related in any way? Will have a look at a Angular/Meteor package in the next days if Meteor is still almost blank on the frontend (as it was when I had the last look)...

Tnx,
Anton

No idea, I'll try to look at Urigo's package when I get a chance.

Hi Guys, I'm Urigo, the owner of https://github.com/Urigo/angular-meteor.

We are a team that uses angular-meteor in a few of our production apps and maintaining it daily.

We have also written a tutorial here:

and also maintaining a library to support the Ionic Framework on top of angular-meteor:

We have 2 production applications on top of those libraries and work also in PhoneGap with Ionic. it saved us so much time!

Chris, your work is very nice , we would love to accept any ideas you have and add them into our library!
