How is the relevance of security issues between minor versions in AngularJS?

Are security fixes for e.g. 1.6.X also relevant for code developed for 1.5.X?

In other words: If I am on AngularJS 1.5.11 (latest version for 1.5.X) and there is a security fix for 1.6.0, is this fix also relevant for 1.5.11 or can I stay with 1.5.11 and do not have to migrate to 1.6.0?
