Hello im new to Angular 2 environment

i would like to know is Angular 2 can be connected to sql database in order to create a cross platform application, i did some search on youtube but i didn't get a clear video showing that

i want to make a CRUD Operation web app

I have not graduated to Angular 2 yet. but I use Angular 1.x to connect to sql server using express as my api middleware and this module
