Help with $q and cg-busy library

Hi, I posted my question on cg-busy github, but I figured it would be better to post here. So, I'm just linking the github issue that I've created: https://github.com/cgross/angular-busy/issues/25

In short, I'm using an api that make use of callbacks, but I need to convert the calls to a promise in order to cg-busy work. Well, that didn't work. Please, refer to the link and help me figure out where I'm wrong.
