Create popup windows solution

I want to create a generic solution that would open popup windows for me. I wanted it to be totally generic in terms of providing a template and a controller on the go.

Is that something like this even possible?

Hi Mark,

Sure, it is. Actually quite easy.

let reference = window.open('urlWithParameters')

the url leverages the router to show just what you need.

But that will open a new browser window. What I want is a popup over currently shown template.
