I have been invited to speak at NCDevCon on AngularJS (
http://ncdevcon.com/post.cfm/ncdevcon-2011-speaker-topic-list )
NCDevcon is a regional conference should be approx 400 or so people in
attendance on the campus of the North Carolina State University. My
question is this, do you have any existing slidedecks or presentation
material that I can use in my presentation? Besides the slide deck I
think the hardest thing will be for me to explain exactly what
AngularJS is.

Thanks,

Tim

The latest is on Igor's github: https://github.com/IgorMinar/ng-slides
There are two versions (each in separate branch): https://github.com/mhevery/angular-demo-slides

Pretty sure, Igor & Misko will tell you more as they talk about AngularJS very often :-D

Yeah, the link to my slides is the most recent one (I just pushed a few more updates to the repo).

These days during our presentations we typically try to argue that html and js were designed for documents, but what we are dealing with today are web applications. So there is this disparity between the tools (building blocks) we use and the result we are hoping to achieve with them. Angular tries to provide higher level abstractions, more suitable for building webapps, while greatly improving the testability story of web development.

We need to improve the slides and show off more complicated bindings {{ user.name }}, and repeaters. And we need to start using css tranforms for the slide animation in order to benefit from hw acceleration which will make the animation smoother.

Is this project even still looked at?

I just left a comment on the opened issue... Would be great to have an up to date version of this!

Thanks
