Example of simple end to end CRUD application with AngularJs (Comunicating and Synch with server models/peristing it with DB)

Hey hi all,
I have recently stared with MVC stuff in JS and picked Backbone first... and then started investigating about Angular ...
 
I have been through tutorial on site but still i am not clear about how to build application with it in single page (i mean its different way of thinking frontend solutions).  Can someone point me to to some simple Angular app (phone book ) or something which could show end to end integration with server restful api and mode and view. I just could not understand how to do this with Angular (Something which is achieved with synch in Backbone).

Also i have following query ...
== > How to maintain single model and project it in different view ... I mean in Angular we have $scope which is used to define models as well. So if two controllers are there then how to share common model with both of them ? do we have to pull Model out in common in this case ? How it can be done ?
