Hi,

Do you have any experience with using angular and dojo (http://dojotoolkit.org) together? I would like to know if it possible to use it both.

Thx,

Grzegorz

Hi Grzegorz,

We haven't build any apps with angular and dojo, so we don't have any first-hand experience, but since integration with jquery-ui and closure is possible, I'm hopeful about dojo as well.

Let us know if you have any good or bad experience.

Gzegorz, did you have any success in integrating dojo with angular?

There are some really neat Dojo widgets for mobile that we would like to use.  It would be great if there was a way to use the two together.

We spent a few hours trying, as per this post here:

But we kept getting stuck on dojoxParser.parse() trying to register widgets multiple times and throwing exceptions.
The example unfortunately doesn't use multiple views and routes.  If anyone has a more comprehensive example, we would be really grateful if you share.

Thanks!

Hi Erez,

I had the unfortunate job of building an Angular + dojo mobile application awhile ago.  For many widgets you just have to write a specific hack.  What specifically are you having trouble with?

I made a small example of integrating dojo widgets via a generic
directive some time ago:
http://blog.drobisch.com/2012/07/01/dojo-widget-integration-in-angularjs/
. Will not support all directives in the current state, but might be a
start for your project.

Cheers
