Off Topic, but thanks for showing me plunker! Great looking tool

My coworker is about to begin integration the jQuery FullCalendar plugin with our project, and if we can get it polished perhaps we'll push it to AngularUI. If you think it might be worth your while, perhaps you both could work on it collaboratively in any capacity. I can ask him to put the code he develops on Github so that you both may fork each other.

Andy, I've put my code here: http://plunker.no.de/edit/vFJ00G

I haven't cleaned it yet (migrating from controller-based approach to directive based approach), but is enough to see what I'm trying to do.

Feel free to comment / provide tips on what you would to do make this better, quicker to develop.

This directive should be able to:
  • Display bookings
  • Display unavailabilities (as grey areas)
  • Delegate clicks on available areas as attempts to create bookings
  • Delegate clicks on booking as "know more / act on" the clicked booking
  • Allow to move around bookings and snap them to set intervals

Hi marco, here is what I got done: http://plunker.no.de/edit/qTEtfs

It's really basic, and doesn't have actual 'dates' implemented.

And you should use plunker.  It allows you to have seperate files, so it's nice for bigger things.

Where are we on this directive? Has any progress been made? I would like to lend a hand on this one as well.

Thanks
Josh Kurz

My coworker built integration but didn't build it out as a widget. Feel free to fork and PR AngularUI and I would be happy to help you out.

I'm working on it. I'm using https://github.com/ikelin/fullcalendar as base.

I'm testing it out on my use case for a few days to see how it works out.

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to report on my progress on this.

I wrote a directive that works pretty well for this plugin.  http://jsfiddle.net/joshkurz/q53C6/2/ Takes in live events from the scope, that could be rendered via services to create dynamic resources.

I have submitted a Pull Request for Angular-UI, however the tests that I wrote do fail at the moment, so I think the PR needs more work to be worthy...

Hi Marco,

This looks great! Is there any way to share your code? Perhaps a jsfiddle?  I need to create the same thing.

Regards,

Dale

FYI - I'm only asking because the plunker links are all dead.

Hi Dale,
I think the FullCalendar Directive went into AngularUI. Tobias Kopelke and me are currently working on a pure angluar-calendar, which we want to contribute to AngularUI. It is not feature complete, but you can take a look here:

Hi Jonannes,

Thanks for the info. I really like the look of your calendar! Can't wait to see it in AngularUI.

I found the source for Marco's calendar - https://github.com/marco-m-alves/fullcalendar, just in case any one is looking for it.

Initially I was thinking that I required the resource view that Marco implemented, but I can get by with FullCalendar and AngularUI - of course I think my UI would be much better with an agenda column per resource. =)

Thanks again for the info!

Dale

I have not tried this myself but the ui-calendar could be switched out with any fullcalendar.js implementation giving access to new api's. Angular-UI uses the main Arshaw branch for all demos and testing purposes because its the most well known and trusted.

Hi there. What I did is a simple customization of the fullcalendar version which has ResourceDayView.
