Simple BBcode editor for Angular

Guys, I got stuck with this for couple days alredy and I feel like my head is about to blow up. I need a dead simple BBcode editor for my Angular app. When I mean dead simple I mean this: http://embed.plnkr.co/mfI8Qzk0jA5tBSDlLBne/preview. Yes, just a textarea nad some buttons that put some bbcodes in the text field when clicked. 

But I can't find anything like that, that could be easily integrated with angular. I found this nice jQuery plugin called markItUp, but when I try to make it work with angular, I get lots of bugs (check it out http://embed.plnkr.co/7MBsgLkvXE7XF3a56e1k/preview). 

So, is there anything I could use insted (can't believe there's nothing already integrated) or if there's not, how do I change that first editor into a directive?
