Sidenav mini variant

Hi,

In the material design docs there's a section on the Mini variant of the Sidenav.  I don't believe this is supported in the md-sidenav component.  Is that correct?  Any recommendations on work arounds for getting this kind of functionality?  Are there plans to add this functionality?  Should I add an issue to the github repo?

You are correct that it is not yet supported in md-sidenav.

The only workaround that I know of is implementing this yourself in a new Angular2 component.

I don't know about all of the team's plans, but there is no issue to track this feature request or the implement this part of the spec. Thus that yet-to-exist issue is not in any future planned milestone.
