Chrome crashes on clicking Search Center Options button

I find that Chrome crashes when I click the Options button. It looks like "A Google User" on the Chrome Web Store noted the same thing two days ago, but I have a bit more info. I've found that Chrome will crash every time when you click the Options button if you have signed into Chrome (even as "Person 1", and I've tried with multiple accounts) but if you don't sign into Chrome it works just fine.  I am using the latest version of Chrome (39.0.2171.99) on Windows 7 Professional SP 1. In case there's anything useful in it, I have attached the crash report from Chrome.
