Hi Aubrey,

So I put together a better schedule for you guys, hoping this clears some things up.  We're trying to open Derby Days up to the entire campus this year, and I hope you aren't offended that we're trying this new way.  However, we've still reserved Saturday just for the girls.

Coin Wars - This will be happening all of 3rd week.  I'll have buckets out for every house, and the winning house will get 30% of the overall winnings.

Pie a Sig - 3rd Tuesday at lunch we will have brothers lined up to get pies thrown at them.

Make a Sig Pretty - 3rd Wednesday at lunch there will be brothers lined up to get various different makeup put on.  If enough money is reached for a brother, they will have to walk around for the rest of the day in embarrassment.  I was wondering if there'd be a couple of ASAs who are much better at makeup than me willing to help out???

Jack's Night for Dylan - We're going to have unlimited bowling at Jack's Place in Flushing starting at 8:00.  All proceeds from this event will go directly to Dylan Hett's fund, who I'm sure most of you know.  He's fighting and staying positive, but he needs all the help we can get him.

Sorority Appreciation - We didn't want to completely drop the old Derby Days, so we kept Saturday fairly similar.  We'll have ASA and AGD out at 3:00, or sooner if you'd like to hangout.  At 3:00 we'll have a nice early dinner prepared, and then the brotherhood auction.  The sorority that spends the most on this will get $200 to their philanthropy.  Then we'll go out and do some of the fun things we've done in the past: The water balloon throw, horse races, and relay races.  After that, everyone is more than welcome to hang out afterwards, basically a mixer.

Sorry it's been so confusing!  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thanks everyone,
-Sam

Hi Aubrey,

I was wondering if you could let everyone at ASA know that Derby days will be a little different this year as far as the competition is concerned.  This year, we won't be doing a week long competition in the normal sense, but we will still do Penny wars.  However, we are hoping to open this up to all greek life to increase money raised.  There will still be a competition between the sororities though.  We want to do something similar to white rose dinner on 3rd Saturday, and there will still be the brotherhood auction and other activities we have done in the past.  Whoever spends the most on Saturday will win $200!

Thanks Aubrey!
