Seems like a really good addition. Hopefully it will be well used by
anglers to assist the Executive keep in touch with grass roots level
feelings.

Barry,

Congratulations to you for having the foresight to establish this
group. As a Tassie angler who isn't associated with any formal
organisation, the idea of a forum where one can be heard is most
welcome.

However, I am astonished to note that there are some sixty people
signed up here and not a one of them has thought to make a post yet!
To every one of those members, I would say you owe it to yourself, and
to Anglers' Alliance, to make your views known. A discussion forum
can only succeed, if there IS discussion! And Anglers Alliance can
only be an effective body, if it has feedback from accross the angling
community. It is folly to think that just because you have paid your
subs to your local angling club, your views will necessarily be heard
where it counts. So cut out the middle man and make your voice heard
on here. Its a wonderful opportunity.

To you Barry, I would just say thank you for giving people like me a
place where they can provide some input. In my case, I hope you won't
regret it :-)

Kind Regards,

AC

Thank you for the kind words but the kind word need to be directed to
the Executive Officer, Richard Dax who requested the creation of this,
hopefully very valuable forum for all anglers but particularly
independents.

Good luck with the fishes, Barry.
