ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT TO REGISTER!! AME SUMMER MUSIC CAMP NEWS UPDATE

Dear AME Family,

We hope that you are staying safe and well! Because of the current pandemic, AME will conduct a virtual summer camp in July. Although it will be different than meeting in person, safety is top priority and we believe that the virtual camp will be very rewarding.

We invite you to register to our virtual AME summer music camp! Our registration fee is $35 and our tuition fee has been reduced to $185 for 2 weeks. (sibling discount $165)  Please see the poster attached below for details.

The 2 weeks summer camp will consist of your child receiving 

• Various Virtual coaching/music lessons via Zoom with our celebrated faculty members.

• Various online Interactive musicianship classes, workshops, seminars, sermons via Zoom with AME Faculty & Guest Speakers 

• Virtual performance opportunities by taking part in a pre-recorded benefit concert, which will go toward helping a beautiful family this summer.

The daily schedule will be as follows:

-1 hour: Interactive class daily. ( different musicianship classes, workshops, seminars, choir lessons, sermons via Zoom with AME Faculty & Guest Speakers  *All students MUST attend each class daily.  (This class will be offered the same time each day at 10am) 

- 45 min: chamber music coachings - 2 or 3 times per week; specific schedule for each ensemble TBA. 

- Each student will work towards recording 3 materials

1. Individual ensemble part with their main instrument*

2. Individual choir song singing their own part*

3. A short speech on this year's theme, the compassionate heart means to them. (what they have learned through AME)

*For #1 and 2: Once their finished individual performance video is submitted, we will compile them together with other students recorded performances. At the final benefit concert, their work will be presented to live stream concert everyone! It will be super exciting!!!

Students will learn in greater depth, what compassionate heart means, musically, spiritually, biblically. They will have the opportunity to use what they have learned to bless a family in great need (Emily's Warrior Project!)

Each summer AME raises funds for a worthy cause, with “compassionate heart’ as this year’s theme. AME community will be raising funds for a wonderful family from Massachusetts. Pastor Andy with his wife and four children face a very challenging time as his eldest daughter (8 years old) battles cancer.
