From UK Hand Knitting Association:
PASS YARN CRAFT SKILLS TO THE NEXT GENERATION
AT CREATIVE SHOWS IN 2010

The UK Hand Knitting Association would very much appreciate your support in joining our Knit 1 Pass It On campaign. By getting involved at the Spring and Autumn shows you will be able to promote your local groups, knitting events and shops all of which are of special interest to yarn crafters. Visitors to our stands are hungry for information, following up any details provided about yarn craft activities in their area.  There is no better way to be introduced to a knitting group or hearing about local events than directly from people like you who are there to talk to them, passing on skills and enthusiasm to the next generation.

Once you have registered we will keep in touch with further details. We provide exhibitor’s passes and create a rota, giving you enough time during your show visit to enjoy all that’s on offer at the rest of the exhibition too!

We very much hope that you will join us at some of the 2010 shows.  There is nothing to beat the personal contact, passing on valuable skills and encouraging newcomers to take up yarn crafts. Literally thousands of newcomers can now knit/crochet thanks to people like you. All yarn, needles and other materials are provided free but if you would prefer to bring your own knitting that’s fine too!

Show Details:
25 – 26 March 2010, NEC, Birmingham
7 - 10 October 2010, Alexandra Palace, London
