[AngelKnits Update] Aldi Spcial Offers and a proposal.

Hi Guys,

 

I hope that everyone is hale & hearty?  Hopefully, most people are not feeling the snuffles, however, there is apparently a great deal of early season Hayfever!

 

A friend of mine spotted this:

If you are a prolific knitter, but feeling the credit crunch, these very cheap deals might be just the ticket! 

I can't see the yarn being anything but acryllic, but hey, if you need the knit...

 

Now, as I've mentioned in the past, AK hasn't been that well attended by regular's recently, even though we have a healthy mailing list, and lots of interest from new people... 

 

I know that there have been new people turn up when there have been just me, or even no othe rregualr's there, which then discorages the new people from attending again.

 

This says to me that maybe we've just all got too busy to have AK weekly?

 

I'd like to propose that we go Monthly... I'd also say we stick with Tuesdays, given that IKnit & S&B London are both Wednesday, with IKnit having other events Thursday & Fridays, as well as most other London circles being Wednesdays & Thursdays as well (exception pretty much being the SW London Group, 2nd Tuesday) and I'd propose the 1st Tuesday, as that is easy to Calendar.

 

Or (Dreadful thought) have we've outgrown the need for a local group and should just call it best and wrap up?

 

It's everyone's choice, after all, techincally, we have no leader...

 

So, use the Googlegroup to discuss, e-mail me back directly, or we can talk about it tonight in the Pub! :-)

 

If I don't hear anything back, then, I'll assume that people are happy to go with the flow, and we will go Monthly as I propose.
