Hello everyone,
Just to let you know, that the majoritory of responces I've received are to go Monthly. So, we will carry as as per for the next couple of weeks, then starting from April, we will go to holding AK on the 1st Tuesday of the Month.
Also see below, Would people be interested in this? I can't organise it, as I'm away next weekend... I've refered Anne to StitchandBitchLondon and IKnit for more help and advertising, but, if the knitting bits do go ahead, it add to what should be a good Sunday afternoon Jolly! :-)
See you all later.

Hello Angel Knits,
This may seem a Very random email but I'm organising a charity Goat Race event and would really love your group to be involved.
As you've probably guessed the event is quite silly and is a spoof of the Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race. We're running the oxford VS cambridge Goat race at Spitalfields City Farm on 29th March. All proceeds from the day will go to the farm.
Apart from the actual racing of the goats, we are organising some fun fayre type games and activities for the afternoon.. and here's where you could come in!
One of the activities I'd REALLY like to run is a Goatee Beard speed Knitting Competition.
Here's some pics of what I mean by a knitted goatee:

http://www.miekewillems.com/main.htm(My dad runs a speed knitting competition at our local show in rural Australia - it's commentated like a real race and is rather funny!)
Anyway. That's it. Let me know what you think and if any of your knitting club members would be interested in participating on the day.
The timing of the race would be approx 3pm on Sunday 29th March at Spitalifields city farm.
Attached is a Flyer for the day so you can read more about it.
Take care,
Anne
