Workshop and Buca Dinner Last Call

Hey AIG,

Many of you have signed up for the workshop this Thursday, October
23rd. This email is a last call for registering for the workshop and
a reminder for those of you who have already signed up. Don't forget
5 dollars cash!!

We only have a handful of spots left, so please reply to Megan
(fisk...@umn.edu) ASAP if you haven't already signed up.

There will be many different faculty and residents there to teach -- a
great way to learn about and network in an challenging, exciting,
rewarding, dynamic field.

ALSO -- there are a handful of spots available for dinner at Buca
hosted by the Mayo Clinic -- this event will be of no cost to you.
There will be many engaging faculty members from the Mayo Clinic
Department of Anesthesiology. If you have or are planning on applying
for an anesthesia residency this event is HIGHLY recommended as you
will learn about ways to optimize you application and interviews!

Anesthesiology Skills Workshop

Thursday, October 23rd

5:00 - 7:30pm
Located in the SimPortal (5th Floor of the Mayo Building, left off the
elevators)
Cost: $5 to cover dinner and supplies - please bring cash

--Dinner is provided
--Meet department faculty and residents
--Practice intubation skills
--Learn about central line placement and use ultrasound guidance
--Instruction about anesthetic medications
--Take part in a clinical scenario
