I have just had same problem on lenovo tablet. Disabled shareit, but can't get rid of it. My Internet has now disconnected from my tablet and wants my router password to obviously reconnect. Would it be safe to do this or am I overreacting.
Been onto lenovo on chat. Did everything asked which I'd either done and failed. Told me to do factory reset and this shd work. Done this tonight. Disabled shareit and scanned again. STILL THERE. Waiting for lenovo response.
that is because you have two versions of shareit installed. First, uninstall the pc application. Second, there might be an application installed using the Microsoft store. Make your pc free of all the instances of the application. Again install, and make sure you open it with the same shortcut that got created.
Shareit wants to expand to other countries in future, but for the current website in Finland they require Finnish bank identification to book cars through the website. That kills my idea of suggesting the Tesla for a road trip up north. However I had to ask them if it would be somehow possible for foreigners to rent their Tesla if someone wanted to tour in Lapland and perhaps even over to Norway. It can be arranged. A whole extra problem is that ShareIt's game store can apparently download app data over unsecured HTTP, where it can be subject to a man-in-the-middle attack. ShareIt registers itself as the handler for any link that ends its domains, like "wshareit.com" or "gshare.cdn.shareitgames.com," and it will automatically pop up when users click on a download link. Most apps force all traffic to HTTPS, but ShareIt does not. Chrome will shut down HTTP download traffic, so this would have to be done through a Web interface other than the main browser.
