Acard catalogue is a file containing information about the books and other materials held in a library. Card catalogs were once commonly physical cabinets of drawers containing cards but now often exist online.

Register can be used as a synonym of catalogue, as can inventory and index. Perhaps the most general synonym of catalogue is list. The kind of catalogue that you can order products from and comes in the form of a printed booklet is still somewhat common, despite the popularity of online shopping.

As of 16 November 2023, a revised version of the Novel Food status Catalogue has replaced the former version. This revised version adds new foods (algal species and food cultures), updates the novel foods status of the foods listed in the catalogue and brings the following new features:

Please note that the new Novel Food status Catalogue is a non-binding tool that lists products of animal and plant origin, algal species, food cultures and other substances subject to the Novel Food Regulation, based on information provided by the EU Member States. This should be read in conjunction with the Union list of novel foods

It is a non-exhaustive list and serves as orientation on whether a product will need an authorisation under the Novel Food Regulation. EU countries may restrict the marketing of a product through specific legislation. For information, businesses should contact their national authorities.

In some cases, information is shown regarding the history of use of food supplements and ingredients used exclusively in food supplements in the EU countries. If foods and/or food ingredients were used exclusively in food supplements, new uses in other foods require authorisation under the Novel Food Regulation.

Businesses submit information to the national authorities of the respective EU country for verification e.g. the history of significant consumption of a food or food ingredient prior to 15 May 1997 in the EU.

The catalogue raisonns collection is located and requested at the reference desk in the Art & Architecture Collection; the call numbers begin with (C.R.). According to some scholars, not all volumes collected and placed in our reference desk collection are true catalogues raisonns. We have included books that provide the closest listing of all the works of an artist that is available at the moment. Any raisonns dealing with etchings, lithographs, and prints are housed in our Print Collection, Room 308.

Most of the records we hold are described on an electronic database: the NRS online catalogue. Within the NRS, a body known as the National Register of Archives for Scotland (NRAS) catalogues records held in private hands and these are described on the NRAS online register. In order to fully address the inherent threats of mobile devices, a wider view of the mobile ecosystem is necessary. This repository contains the Mobile Threat Catalogue (MTC), which describes, identifies, and structures the threats posed to mobile information systems.

Readers of the catalogue may notice threats that are not tied to a documented source or lack countermeasures, and other threats may exist that are not identified here. This catalogue is intended as a living document. Though the initial comment period is now closed, feedback on mobile threats addressed in the catalogue as well as ideas for additional threats are still encouraged.

The final products of the Hipparcos mission - the Hipparcos and Tycho Catalogues - were released in June 1997. The catalogues were constructed under the responsibility of large scientific teams collaborating with ESA. The Consortia Leaders were Dr Lennart Lindegren (Lund, Sweden: NDAC) and Professor Jean Kovalevsky (Grasse, France: FAST) together responsible for the Hipparcos Catalogue; Professor Erik Hg (Copenhagen, Denmark: TDAC) responsible for the Tycho Catalogue; and Dr Catherine Turon (Meudon, France: INCA) responsible for the Hipparcos Input Catalogue.
