Hello,
I hope you are all doing well. Christmas is just round the corner, and this is an excellent excuse for me to email my gift suggestions!
Weave of the Ride is a book that I started writing in April 2009, after cycling in India. I was eager to process what I had learnt from my travels, and the words certainly poured out, as I revisited the memories.
The book covers a story that began due to a basic desire to learn about the world! Sleeping rough most nights, different people and places each day travelling from England to Georgia. Can you imagine breaking all routines and escaping normal life. Is that a really stupid idea?
One first look, its a cycling adventure, but, I have an unending curiosity about the world and why things are the way they are. This is reflected as I figure things out for myself which gives the story a philosophical (and often idealist) side.
You can pick up a copy of the book, either by searching on Amazon, iTunes, or in Google for 'Weave of the Ride'. (Its currently ranking quite high on the Russia travel eBook section of Amazon!!) Its on offer at the moment, so its a good time to grab a copy. If you do read it, I would really appreciate it if you could post a review on the Amazon site.
On another note, its coming up to the new year. I have four calendars on sale covering the best of my photography from my cycle travels! Pick one up here:
