We won the competition! Last month Tom Allen and I did a 24 walk
around the zone 1 tube stations in Central London. The video that Tom
edited of the trip won the Howie's competition so Tom is happy to get
many new t-shirts in preparation for the winter months:

Thats about it for this month. I've now finished my first book about
my cycle trip from England to Georgia and living in the Caucasus (all
90,000 words of it) . I'm hoping to have it ready for Christmas, so
watch this space.

Lastly if you planning an expedition or outdoor-adventure/expeditions
interest you, then I highly recommend that you go along to the Explore
2011 Seminar weekend at the Royal Geographical Society. For more
