This is a great program so far, lots of potential. I like the large
font + general layout vs other twitter apps. I have some suggestions:

If it's feasible, make it so that there isn't a message in the
notification bar for new tweets while you are already in the program.

When long-clicking, having an option to view the author's page/profile
would be nice. Same with DM.

Thanks for the feedback, Jitin!

I am working on making the notifications. It's a bit iffy since they
come from the background service that checks and downloads the twitter
feeds.

Going to add the two options that you suggested as well. Would you
prefer to have the author page/profile in-line in the application, or
link to the external profile page?

It'd be great within the application, sort of an 'All In One' app. Got
a few more for ya:

- history: how long to keep tweets in history/main screen..or how many
to display (ie last hour, 6 hours, day, etc). maybe an option to clear
screen (and hitting reload would reload from the 'how many to display'
option ie reload from last 4 hours, etc)
- when there's nothing entered in the text box and you hit send, it
acts like it's sending the message and gives the 'clients must
provide...' error. How about dimming the send button and thus making
it unusable and when there's something in the text box, it's lit up.
Similar to the text messaging text box/send button.

I think that's it for right now. I'll be interested in seeing how
you're going to implement favorites.

Thanks

I am currently working on the history issue. I want to make the ListView that contains the tweets work somewhat similar to the Android Market. When the user moves all the way down to the end of the list of say the first 20 tweets, the app will load more tweets and the user can continue scrolling.

We also need a limit as you said, so that the user can specify how many tweets to keep in history. I will see what I can do with what you suggested here for now.

I have fixed the send button for the next release and it will tell you that you need to type something before sending. Hmm, actually, disabling it is even better than alerting the user. Thanks!
