Remote control ("Phone" tab) no longer working since 29 aug update

Latest update breaks remote control "Phone" tab for me -- all clicks register to the middle of my screen instead of where I'm actually clicking.
Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 running ICS (4.0.4), Cyanogenmod 9.
Was working properly before this update.

Hope this can be fixed, or that I can revert somehow.

Quick update: the mouse issue is solved, we are working on non-English
alphabet. I'll publish an apk as soon as it's ready.
