Hi Guys,

Webkey is not able to start on some of the phones, I really don't
know why. It seems like the Java code gets started, it starts the
service without an error, but the service is not started. The other
issue is that if the apk is installed on the sdcard, then Webkey
doesn't start on boot on my phone. This madness has to stop.

My question is: what do you think about modifying a script in /system
which gets started at root? I can remount /system in rw, add webkey at
the end, and everybody would be happy.

Thanks,
Peter

Not my area of expertise.... but please let us know when this plan has been implemented so I can see if it works on my galaxy mini. Thanks!

Hi,

Things have changed. Finally I got a device for a couple of hours
where the autostart didn't work. So I've fixed it. On some phones
Webkey crash without any error message when there is a call
"fflush(NULL)".

I've just uploaded an apk to Play with the following changes:

- fixed autostart
- fix for remotescreen long click issue
- increased jpeg quality from 40% to 70%
- Turkish language
- on some ICS devices fixed touch/keyboard inject

Thanks,
Peter
