Hello,

How to use the zip function for spk files and how to install them?

Hi Frank,

Script Packages (SPKs) simply provide a way for you to wrap up your Apps (including all the images etc) and transfer them to a friend's phone via email.

If you click on an SPK file in an email message or your downloads folder you should get an option to open it with AndroidScript. It will then be added to your list of Apps.

The SPK file format is simply a zip file format just like APK's are.

I hope that answers your question.

David

Hi Molly,

It does not actually run the program, it just installs the program into AndroidScript (or it should anyway).  Perhaps you didn't notice the App was installed?

Was the SPK sent from Gmail or another type of mail program?

Do you have the latest version of AndroidScript from Google Play?
