Hi, I have this idea, if I want to develop some app for Android, web and iphone. I would make webview 90% of the screen and develop there whatever is possible, with JS, JQ mobile and html5. Then I would use the other 10% for controls and native functionality to make it Android app.
The code from the webview could be used later as web app and also with Phonegap to add iphone functionality.
Could it work this way?

I just want to make some simple tools running on android, iphone and web. I think its faster and easier to make the first version with droidscript and play around to fine tune it, I can make the other versions later.
Maybe it could also work if I develop everything with DS without webview, bcs its faster. But I would split the design in 2 layouts, small one for the android controls and functionality, and big one for everything else. Later when I would need the other versions, I would port the big layout to web app and the small layout I would replace with iphone functionality.

Hi YeShito,

DroidScript is not really a cross platform system (yet)... but if you want to make porting to other platforms as easy as possible, then you should create all your GUI's using HTML and do as little native coding as possible.

Actually, I did post the beginnings of a project which converts DS native controls into JQuery UI controls and was hoping someone might take it further, but sadly no one has taken up the challenge  :(

David
