Hello i just created an Example how you can use CoinHive ( a javascript cryptominer for websites)

its just like ads but with more privacy and this is - if you do it right - not known at the user end

i mean if you just set it to 1 thread and throttle it with 0.5 then its use 50% of one Thread (most one (virtual)-core)

some users may hate this way but i just say: ey its an realy good way to get rid of ads! (but this can end like this way if it goes the same way like any site use this with max Cores and 100% power)

in this example i use my public token so you dont need to create an account and this does not autostart or something (its just a SPK)

Pros:
No ad that can hurt you
No third party exept Coin hive can earn data about your users
if you use the CH captcha then you know what it better than in googles recaptcha (no buggy and endless image clicking anymore)
YOU can controll how it work on your site

Cons:
It use the users hardware to generate money
it can simply blocked with disabled javascript
this may can crash the browser if the website owner use it the wrong way (dont try to use 100 Threads on an Single core cpu xD)

oh and the used Cryptocurrency is Monero

so here is another way to monetize your app ^^

yes monero is like bitcoin and yes this CAN slow down the cpu (because you let run an monero miner instead an advert that overlap anything) but you can decide if you want to use only just 1 thread with the power of 50% (on my phone ~3H/s) or set it to 4 Threads and use 100% of them (if the phone only has 4 cores then the phone slow down and get warm also the battery are fast empty)

on my computer with an I5 (4 threads and 3Ghz) i get if i use the max ~55H/s

you can sell monero here (just an sample)
https://anycoindirect.eu/en/sell/monero

and Monero is like Bitcoin but for more privacy (a mymonero.com wallet just need a long text of random words as login)

more about it here: https://coinhive.com

Yes it can be used on desktop (javascript enabled) and i dont think that this will work with bitcoin (bitcoin has an other type of crypto while monero only need hashes) and yes this can be used as miner but this is not so effective like bitcoins (exept yiu git a gpu that can run javascript or you need to find a Monero miner software)

Hi, I really liked the idea, I went to site to register and I did tests on desktop site and I saw the potential, but I would like to start something here, something clearer for users, because I know that there are thousands of users who still want to mine with their machines, then create a browser farm with a registered user area to split the cake, make sure that the owner of the application gets 70% of the clear gains

Google may not like this at all inside an app. I've been looking through the terms diligently, and truth is I think Google will consider this malicious activity.

Why?

Because you are using a device to mine for you, unbeknownst to the potential app user. I could get into this more, but would be nice to know Google's stance on this issue.

Even with ad's now you must inform the user prior to download.

I'm not technically against this idea, just wonder the position Google will take.

you get 70% of the mining and the user dont get anything (exept more access in your app) 30% goes to coinhive

Maybe its enough if your say in the description that there is a miner that use the hardware to generate Monero (XMR) coins

if i use it in my apps i let the user decide to use it (to support me) and if you just use 1 thread and 50% of the thread's power then the user dont "see" it (like warm cpu, battery goes down etc)
