HI,
Normally you get an email with a link to the Premium group,
which gets higher priority.
If you are Premium then you should be able to
use Premium features (like Themes)
Material Design (MUI)
Install the builder
Sometimes the builder gives a message, but if I try again it usually works
If it still doesn't work, I'd advise contacting the Support team
Regards, ah

I subscribed for 1 year premium but I am unable to use any premium feature. Whenever I try to use a Premium feature, it tells me I must subscribe to Premium, but I am already subscribed and when I try to "resubscribe", it says I am already subscribed. I try to upload my work to the cloud from my PC but I get the same message.

Frankly, I find this lack of support from DS frustrating. Something as basic as not being able to use a feature I paid for, and there is no word from DS? They tell me I "should" be enjoying premium features, and I say I am NOT, and that's it?

HI,
If you open the SPK (from the Files app)
it will install the project/app in DS.
Then run the app in DS, touch the icon to copy to the clipboard
and paste it into Google Groups
Regards, ah

This shows I am not a Premium subscriber when I definitely am. In fact, my multiple attempts to solve this problem led to my paying for subscriptions till December 2025.

@rsawoseyin: your email is definitely registered as premium in the Google Play order management console.

Do you have multiple email addresses on your phone?

Also, what country are you based in?

@rsawoseyin:  ok, so you told me that you have multiple email accounts on your phone...

In this case, make sure you are logged into the primary account in the Google Play app when you start DroidScript (you can set which account is active in the app settings)

Also you should have installed DroidScript under that same primary Google Play account, so if you think that you did not do that, then you should backup your apps via email and then uninstall and re-install DroidScript making sure that your primary account is selected in the Google Play app when you do the install.

If you are using the latest beta, then you should still install the current version that is on Google play first, but then overwrite that version with the beta version found here -

Make sure you have a good internet connection while you are doing these things.

If the above does not work then the next thing to try is clearing the cache on the Google Play App...

Go to the Android Settings/Apps/Google Play Store/App Info, click 'Clear Data' and select the 'Clear Cache' option.

I hope this issue will be fixed soon. Even I format my phone and use only one Google account that is associated with the account I used to buy the PREMIUM version at the end it didn't work. Well in the first placed it works partly, but after I install the APK BUILDER, the issue come out. After I exit and returned back to the app , I don't have access the to the premium features, clearing cache , doesn't work. Last step that I didn't do is using he beta version but I don't know how to install it, if possible dev. Can you show me the steps on installing process. I do already install the beta but the apk builder, I don't know how yet, thank you.

If you have already installed the Beta, not the Beta from Play Store but the Beta from the DroidScript online source, there is an APKBuilder.ppk file in the same folder. Download the APKBuilder.ppk file and once downloaded, just open it and DroidScript app will automatically detect it and install. You can also put the ppk file in Plugins folder and restart DroidScript and it will install the package.

To be able to download the Beta files directly online, you should be added to the BetaGroup forum for you to have access to the announcements of Beta releases which has direct links in it.

Just found out that Dave posted the link above.

http://androidscript.org/beta/DroidScript_267b1/

In this folder, you can see 3 files

ApkBuilder_267b1.zip

DroidScript_267b1.apk
Release-Notes.txt

Download ApkBuilder_267b1.zip, put the file in the Plugins folder of DroidScript and restart DroidScript app.

Since you are on Android 13, you are affected by scoped storage. You can find the Plugins folder in Android>data>com.smartphoneremote.androidscriptfree>files folder. Just navigate into it using your File Manager. Since you are using Samsung device, the Files app can view this folder directly. Paste the ApkBuilder_267b1.zip file in the Plugins folder and restart DroidScript.

Regards

These problems might be due to the network in your area being patchy, or the connection to Google's server.... perhaps we should implement a better retry mechanism in the DS licence checker.

Please try using this code and see if it fails regularly -

function OnStart()
{
lay = app.CreateLayout( "linear", "VCenter,FillXY" )
    btn = app.AddButton( lay, "Show Subscription Info", 0.6 )
    btn.SetOnTouch( GetStatus )
app.AddLayout( lay )

playStore = app.CreatePlayStore()
}

function GetStatus()
{
    playStore.GetPurchases( (data)=>{ alert( JSON.stringify(data,null,2)) }, "SUBS" )
}

I am absolutely certain the problem has nothing to do with a poor network in my area. I have both optical fiber and Starlink, and have no network - related issue with any other app.

I ran the checker code you posted above that is supposed to check the Playstore subscription status. The alert that is supposed to show the Playstore information never happened. That is, the code

playStore.GetPurchases(..)

did nothing.

I believe there is an issue with the Premium subscription checker algorithm.

Please try running that code a few times throughout the day and tell me if it ever shows the alert dialog.
(Note: Premium work fine every time on my Wife's Android 13 Samsung Galaxy device)

Also, if you can get an ADB log right after running that code, it would be useful so we can see if any errors occurred.  You can get the ADB log in the WiFi IDE on the Debug tab by typing '$logcat' in the box at the bottom.
