Hello,

to find out which is the correct hex number for the SetColor method of the objects you can use this simple AndroidScript.
Inspired by this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hex.colorcode

Nice App but I think the green and blue need swapping :)

Update

Please place the image file under "Assets" - Images, which is identical with the "Img/" folder under the "Hex Color Code" folder.

Hope this works now.

Very nice... works perfectly :)

Probably more convenient to post a .spk file though.

Hi,

I found it quite annoying to generate an applicaton layout with title bar, status bar etc. from scratch. Therefore I tried to build some basic routines to
help me with this. The first AndroidScript application that makes use of this layout template is the updated version of Hex Color Code, version 2.

Please note: you can configure parts of the design by simply changing the "use..." variables at the start. As the script that generates the base layout
is under "Misc" you can change it to your needs or even completely included in your main script for performance reasons.
Next step might be to make an own object and define methods for title, status and menu.

best regards

the code is in SPK format. you can just download the SPK and use a file explorer then use SHARE and pick DroidScript and it will install the code on droidscript =) (in your cellphone or tablet)

Hi i was wondering there are excess codes like create menu layout. Are these not implemented? Also there are resources like images of small buttonsm what are these for?

Just so you guys are aware, this post is from 4 of 2014. Nearly two years ago. The original author may or may not even be around anymore.

Hi Netpower8,

just by chance I'm back since a few days as I have some trouble connecting Arduino to DroidScript, but that's another story.

The code might contain much more functions and references as it would be required for the single application described here. The reason is,
that I planned to reuse the layout functions, including some small indicators, for other projects, including one for serial or bluetooth connection to a board
like IOIO or Arduino. Just think about adjusting the color and sending this information via bluetooth to a RGB LED or a LED strip. That's the background.

best regards
Schnee

There is a dialog on the wiki that looks like it may have been inspired by Schnee's code.
