I didn't have this problem before the most recent update, but here is what happens (not sure if it's linked):

The project runs perfectly through the DroidScript App, no bugs or hitches; however when I go to build the APK and install it, on the first run I am greeted with the subsequent screen:

On the second, or any run after the first, There is just a blank screen which I have left for over 15 minutes in hope of it showing some sign of life.
Has this happened to anyone else, if so did anyone find a solution to this?
I am looking into a workaround for the time being - I have an idea - but I'd like to know if this can be solved directly,

Thanks,
Kieran.

Hi,
Have you updated the apk builder plugin?
Press reinstall in the plugin dialog. And restart Droidscript.
I hope that solves your problem.
Many Greetings
Timo

Kieran,
In DroidScript, go to the plugins menu.

The apk builder plugin should have a reinstall button. Click that button, which will download the latest version but not charge you.
Shut down DroidScript, then start it up again.

Try creating your apk again and see if that works.

I have just found the cause of the problem. Within the APK itself, my code was named "PROJECTNAME.js" - PROJECTNAME being the placeholder for the name of the project...
I renamed this to "main.js" and rebuilt and signed the package and it worked.
I'll try what you said and see if that fixes it properly,

Thank you to both of you :)

Sadly, even after reinstalling the plugin, the problem persists in calling the JavaScript file, in my case, AQADo.js rather than main.js.
I can use my workaround in the meantime, but I shall report this to David,
Thanks again for your help,
Kieran.

I have just done some more testing and this seems to be affecting all of my projects.
Sorry for the mass number of consecutive posts, I just thought that it'd be better with some more updates. :P

Just for info, the apks built by the latest builder version no longer start with assets/main.js, they use assets/user/projectname.js

But I think you are right that you need Dave to try to analyse your problem. If you reinstalled the plugin and then shut down DroidScript before building your apk, it should just work.

I got it solved in the end. He recommended for me to try reinstalling the plugin and closing down DroidScript like you did but this time it worked. Strange.
