HI,

Chrome has Title and x (close tab) for each tab at the top with V (recently closed) and X (close browser);
back, forward, reload, home, url, add to favourites, show side panel (list of favourites), (more) on row2.

(We also have stop, view html, and clear history).

In portrait we have very little room.

I'd prefer to try and have url and one button which opens a dialog with 

all the other buttons and close browser and change colour and list of favourites and list of recently used (phew)
