Hello,

I'm using the Biometric - Fingerprint Auth, great plugin!!!

My question is it possible to identify which of the enrolled fingers were used with the sensor?

Thanks much in advance!

Hello,

I know it's been a long time for an answer sorry about that now I saw it by chance.

When this plugin was made, I wanted to add this as well, but I couldn't find a source for it.

One of the reasons is that it doesn't really matter which finger is used. Fingerprint security is for the owner, it's not very safe to have someone else scan their finger so it doesn't really matter which finger it is, considering it's just the owner's fingerprint.

I hope it helped. It is not possible to reach the name etc. of the verified fingerprint.

@Camel, thank you for your reply.

I'm using your plugin and it works very well! the reason I've asked if it is possible to identify which of the verified fingerprint was used is to use it to identify whether the app was open by the user using his finger A or is it was opened by the same user who used finger B to open the same app since he was under "5$ wrench attack"; in both cases the app will open but it will behave differently, for example, using finger A opens the wallet app with  access to all funds but if it was opened using finger B then there will be only 10$ worth of funds for example..

are you planning of doing the same for the internal PIN code Auth by any chance?

Thanks again for your plugin, I appreciate it very much!!
Cheers,

When Cemal produced the plugin I desperately wanted to find a loophole to persuade him he could offer something different for different fingerprints

I spent quite some time ploughing through https://developer.android.com/training/sign-in/biometric-auth but could find nothing helpful
