Hi all. Wondering if anyone has come across this problem before and what might be causing it. I created a simple webview app (it's pretty much the exact same code as the webview example in the docs but resized to full screen and linking to a different website) but, when I go to install the apk, I get a dialogue stating: "Parse Error: There was a problem while parsing the package". Anyone know what the problem is? (More details in screenshots.)

There seems to be a problem installing apks with hyphens in the name.

Try renaming your app to use underscores instead of hyphens and see if that builds a valid apk.

Will do. Thanks Steve!

Hi Guys, thanks for finding this bug.

I've changed DroidScript so that it automatically removes the hyphens in the package name dialog now.

Regards
David

Fantastic, thanks Dave. Does that mean I can rename the package with hyphens again?

No, it means you can have hyphens in your app name, but not your package name.
