After generating APK, install fails, Android says package is not correct.
Indeed APK is generated with a size of about 265K while usually it is about 3 MEGs. So I guess something went wrong...

I had first a message sayin APK builder was out of date.
So I Uninstalled and reinstalled  APK builder fro PlayStore.
No improvement at all , same issue with wrong APK.

Any idea ?

1.73 is a beta.

Try going to http://androidscript.org/beta/DroidScript_173b1/

download apkbuilder.zip

Put it in /sdcard/DroidScript/Plugins/
(You may need to create the folder)

Restart DroidScript.

Thanks.

Finally issue had nothing to do with DS level.
I discovered my other projects where building correctly so investigated what could be specific to this one.

It turns out that I had by accident in the IMG folder a picture name with accentuated character (like déjàvu.png !).

In that case, the build process works apparently like a charm but  generates a 32k file size that of course fails to install.
Sounds like a bug,  At least some error message should pop up if supported character set is limited.
